Aspergers.Syndrome.Adults -- Adults with Asperger's Syndrome

About Aspergers.Syndrome.Adults
English (USA)

The ASD-AS list is dedicated to discussion of adults with the autistic spectrum disorder known as Asperger's Syndrome, including topics such as work issues, independent living, relationships, and disability rights. Discussion of other commonly-associated disabilities such as depression, anxiety, and OCD are also considered on-topic.

While primarily geared towards providing a forum for individuals with Asperger's Syndrome, this list is also open to mature teenagers with AS, parents/partners/caregivers, service dog trainers, and mental health professionals, as well as other "invisibly-disabled" people who share common disabilities with those on the spectrum. All others are welcome to participate, provided that posts remain on-topic.

NOTE: Because this forum is dedicated to Asperger's Syndrome adults, threads about raising AS children, IEPs, and elementary-school education are most definitely off-topic. Please remember that this is *not* a support group for parents of school-aged children, and respect our list membership's desire to remain focused on adult issues.
